Views: Date:2017-11-09
1. Concept of oil seal:
Oil seal is the customary name of the seal, which is simply the seal of lube oil. As the name implies: the oil seal is used to seal oil (oil is the most common type of liquid substances in the transmission system, also refers to the general liquid substance) mechanical components, it will need lubricating parts and transmission parts output component segregation, unapt let lubricating oil leakage. From oil seal sealing function, characteristics, structure type, working status and sealing mechanism, etc. Can be divided into a variety of forms and different term, but habits on the axis of rotation are lip seal oil seal, static seal and dynamic seal seal called sealers (general reciprocating motion). The representative form of oil seal is TC oil seal, which is a kind of rubber fully covered with self-tightening double lip oil seal. Generally speaking, oil seal often refers to this TC skeleton oil seal.
2. Oil seal materials:
The commonly used materials of oil seal are: nitrile rubber, fluoro rubber, silicone rubber, acrylate rubber, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. When choosing oil-sealed materials, the material must be considered for the compatibility of the working medium, the adaptability of the range of work temperature and the ability to follow the rotation axis at high speed. General oil seal work its lip margin of 20 ~ 50 ℃, the temperature is higher than the working medium temperature should be pay attention to when choosing oil seal materials. Oil seal of the scope of work related to the oil seal materials used: material is nitrile rubber (NBR) for - 40 ~ 120 ℃, Alec rubber (ACM) - 30 ~ 180 ℃, fluorine rubber (FPM) - 25 ~ 300 ℃.
